Hello

I am trying to test the commitment for puchasing and I have created a budget commitment for 1 vendor which is also has a purchase agreement.

Now the problem is that I get an error message, my purchase requisitions ALL get cancelled at the end of the approval cycle, with a new message i believe that is comming from the commitment of budget .

I have never worked with this. Can anybody help a tell me where i can fix what this message is asking? because there is nothing about the commitment on the PR ?

And also, in the message it says that there is a purchase order automatic creation?? What is that ? I never saw that either. Usually I convert

    Hello Veronika,

Are you familar with the setup of committment accounting?

Please have a look at the following docs site for details:

    Best regards,

Actually yes i do, thanks for the reference though.

My problem, such as this is saying in the error message, is that I had an automatic conversion of purchase requisition (PR) to purchase order (PO) policy on.

So all my PR's once completed were automatically cancelled at the moment of the automatic conversion to PO. Because once you have your commitment budgeting on, when you create a PO you must select the commitment number on the line of the PO. So, during this automation due to the policy, the system couldn't select for me the commitment number on the PO line therefore, system cancelled the conversion and left my PR status as 'Cancelled'.

Now that i found where this parameters was, i will turn it off and try again later with the manual PO creation. I strongly believe that this should work now.
