Any ideas on how to end a production order once the financial period has been closed?

You have two options:
1) Close order in open period (current).
2) Open period -> close order -> close period.

The problem I have is that the finance department don't want to open the period !
Any alternatives?
It's always the same, they never want :)
So you have only one option, change the date and end order in open period. But if they want to see amounts in closed period they obviously need to open it.
