Hi!

Im trying to add into my application site map two sub-areas from same entity (contact), I need to add one sub-area for my clients and another one for my vendors, each of one has to have their own views and forms based on contact type field.

any ideas of how can I accomplish this?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi Angel,

Hope you are doing well and safe!

Please check the below link for the same, might solve your query,

    https://community.dynamics.com/crm/f/microsoft-dynamics-crm-forum/190376/load-different-forms-based-on-site-map?pifragment-97030=1

As per the user comment in article - You can open form from sitemap subarea based on the id, similarly you can create different sub area to show different views for entity if required but you can't set more then one default view for entity.

Fore more details refer this doc - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/dynamicscrm-2016/developers-guide/gg328483(v=crm.8)?redirectedfrom=MSDN

    For anyone seeing this:

You can add a new URL type page. Then you have to enter the following URL "/main.aspx?appid=11112222-bbbb-3333-cccc-4444dddd5555&pagetype=entitylist&etn=account&viewid=%7b<GUID value of view id>%7d". So do take away the "https://<environment URL>.crm4.dynamics.com" from the URl with the view you want to show.

It will then show the page with the desired view in the current browser window, instead of opening a new one.
