Filtering and sorting in MR Grid Form

Hi Everyone. I Have MR Grid Form that is used for tracking purposes. I Need to change the display fields to sortable or filterable as per the user requirements. [Moved from the title by a moderator]

The user requirements are to make all the Fields that are in the MR Form to be searchable. They are finding it difficult to search the required data in the columds manually,

either they manually export it in excel and apply sort & filter or manually search it in the form.

    Hi Mohammed,

    Can you explain the MR abbreviation you used? Can you also explain what exactly they mean with difficult to search? Some more information and perhaps a screenshot will be helpful here for my understanding.

    it is a Material Requisition form.

    It is a complete customized module, of which the form is created. The form consists of various fields of which only the MR Number is a field. rest are all views.

    There is a lot of data in the form, and every user has his preference for searching, some use purchaser name, some use date or project name fields.

    Let me know if this is possible, if yes then how. If no, what alternative solution do I have for this requirement?

    Hey Mohammed,

    first of all display field is only to show data so it is not filterable or sortable.

    if your data is coming by any condition then create an AOT query for it and by using that query create a view by this user can filter or  sort the data in form.

    or if data is coming more complicated or many ranges are there then user has to export a data in excel and then filter on it. or create a report for that data.
