Packing slip journal from item requirements

Hello All,

I have an issue while posting a packing slip from item requirements for Time & Material project.

The system show below error:

Ledger tap in the Project group is Profit and loss, which means no clearing accounts are required.

Post packing slip to ledger is turned off.

My question is, why the system is asking for:

  1. Account type cost - item
  2. Summary account in the vendor posting profile vendor posting profile is correct, why this account is required while the transaction is not related to vendor!!

    Hi,

    Based on the error message, I would recommend checking the project ledger posting setup for item postings.

    Maybe you can share some screenprints about this setup?

    Also for your vendor / posting profile issue:

    Can you share some screenprints that show the vendor group association and how this is reflected in your posting profile?

    Hi Ludwig,

    Thank you for your feedback, the issue was resolved, by uncheck the capitalized cost in line properties setup screen. By uncheck that option the system will generate journal while posting a packing slip from item requirement, which what I was looking for.
