Payroll tax update error - TX.cab is invalie

Posted on by 3,954

We have a customer getting the following error when trying to update their payroll tax tables.  This error occurs for both the Automatic and the Manual methods.

TX.cab is invalid. The digital signature is invalid or the certificate has expired.  Try to complete the update again.

What do we need to do to resolve this?

I would just download the file and manually apply it then manually:

    mbs.microsoft.com/.../TUGP2010

    Hi Jonathan,

I just tried it again.  Same error.

So it looks like there was some servers that had old dates on them. If you keep trying to should be able to get this to work.

Is this for GP 9 or 10?
