Project Budget Workflow Approval Issue

The below error is generated after the final approval of Project Budget though workflow.

"No account number exists for account type Cost for project *********".

    All,

    Did anyone find a fix for this issue. I am getting same error when posting timesheets for different legal entities.

    No account number exists for account type Cost for project *********

    Hi Imtiyaz,

    Verify the Financial dimensions in the Project setup, that they have the correct project.

    Dear Imtyyaz,

    We are experiencing the same. I noticed though that it only happens when the approval/posting is related to submitted TimeSheets that have lines with multiple company projects.

    Perhaps this info could help you. Does it happen to you also only when you have projects with multiple companies?

    Sorry for the previous reply, bcoz already setup was done, but few categories were missing.

    Again my doubt here is: at the first time once we posted the budget it was approved for all the categories including the missing categories in Ledger Posting setup.

    Now again we are revising the budget then its generating the error msg.

    So why is this happening. If "account" is not setup for a category then it should generate the error at the first time itself, still why in the revision?

    Ledger Posting Setup is already setup.

    Project Budget is already approved and now once the same budget(with the same categories, but amount is made "Plus" "Minus") is Revised with the workflow approval its creating the above issue.

    it seems to be setup issue.

    Please review if you have proper setup at following setup form in Project Management and Accounting module

    \Menus\ProjectManagementAndAccounting\Setup\Posting\Ledger posting setup

    Please verify and update us with your finidngs

    please try to setup an account on project management -> setup -> posting -> Ledger posting setup -> cost.
