Hi,

I have configured security role with privilages "append" and "append to" to account entity set to "user" scope.
Everywhere this privilages working fine, but in connection entity user with this role can select accounts who belongs to other users.

What could causing this?
Are connections entity dont realise privilages from security roles?

    Hello,

I confirm, I have the same behaviour

Context : I want to restrict the "connexion fonctionnality" to few entities only for most people [e.g. preserve connexions regarding all entities only for managers].

"Access Checker in XrmToolBox" confirms "Check Acsess" standar feature : the restriction is technically set.

But the restricted user can create connexions anyway.

For me, it looks like the 'Append To' restriction doesn't works properly when dealing with polymorphic relationships.

    Hello,

    Thanks for reply.

Look there is "Check access" on account what this user can use in connections.
This  screenshot is translated by Google Translator extension.

"Joining" is "Append" and "Join to" is "Append to".
This user doesn't have this permissions, but still can use this account in connections.

    Hi mwasilewskiexisto,

Open that specific account record from that user login and click 'Check Access' button to verify what are the access levels the user is having on this account record and from which security role. If Append To access is not user level, this needs to be addressed.
