Hi Everyone,

Option 1

After ransomware attack our client has lost 6 months data how can we recover that ?

Option 2

If we have all data in excel what would be best practise for data import like Purchase Order | customer payment | JVs

Also, we have to suggest to client how the environment can live in this situation, I mean we have to create vendor/Customer/item master and handle number sequence?

Looking forward for swift support on it, as we have to up live environment and than look after of data import.

Hi Raheel,

If you are talking about production environment, Its really strange that your production environment doesn't have back up than 6 months ago. Its hard to get any supported data back. you can try some data recovery tool on the storage media, but I am doubtful it that will be in supported format by AX2012.

Yes - They have database backups before 6 months.
