What are the field service endpoints to connect with the Dynamics 365 ?

Posted on by 10

Hi There,

I want to know how does the field Service client app communicates to the Dynamics 365 instance ? We know that we are providing the instance URLs but trying to understand the actual endpoints ?

Thanks

I'm trying to setup some monitoring to ensure the availability and performance. Woodford solution provides Sync Dashboard but I need to achieve a kind of dashboard(realtime) to enable the monitoring for E-E D365.

The fact that data is encrypted during transit and at-rest is a major benefit of FS Mobile. It's in your hands to define the synced entities, fields and filters. You have tremendous flexibility, without having to know about APIs and endpoints. My question would be: What are you trying to achieve or resolve?

Thanks for you response. I'm trying to understand how does the Field Mobile app getting the data from Dynamics. Is it via the same Dynamics APIs(INSTANCENAME/api/data/v9.1/ENTITYNAME....) ? If yes, what is the actual endpoint. The Mobile CRM data seems to be encrypted but I'm not quite sure if that is the actual data for the Field Mobile.

    Hi,

Field service is a Solution for Dynamics 365 Like any ISV product. After, Microsoft acquired Field service, Its more powerful than earlier. As its built on top of D365 and use many key entities like Account etc.

I didn't understand what you are looking for?
