URL in Sitemap opens in new window, is that avoidable?

Hi,

In a SubArea in my sitemap, I refer to an URL like:
/main.aspx?etn=custom_entity&id={45F92FC6-7205-EC11-8195-005056981604}&pagetype=entityrecord

When clicked, it opens in a new window. The entire URL that's created onclick does show "newWindow=true". If I add a "newWindow=false" in the URL on the sitemap editor, that won't work.
Is it possible to make this open in the same window?
