I had some packages already developed & my task was to just create a data entity by using those. When I added data entity and added some missing model references that error is showing "No assembly matching referenced module 'ApplicationSuite' is found" although I have added a reference of this model in my solution. For better understanding have a look on attachments
You have to add reference to your package through D365 menu in visual studio and not in your solution. On the Dynamics 365 menu, point to Model Management, and then click Update model parameters. Select the model to update parameters for and then select which models you want to refer , in your case its App suite and then update references .

Hi Atiq,
Please share your event logs.
It may be caused by the referenced Dll.
Remove it then full build and sync.
Seems that your ApplicationSuite might be broken.
My suggestion is to deploy a new dev VM since most of the time it's the quickes way to solve strange issues in the dev system.
Or, you can figure out what changes you have done in the environment lately. Perhaps installed MS updates? Is this a local VM? Perhaps you installed the update incompletely?
It is a local dev VM & I have made no changes to hardware or any other software updates.
I recommend trying it (adding reference from your package to ApplicationSuite) on another VM. If it works there, just deploy/setup a new dev system for yourself.
By the way, don't add reference to the FormAdaptor models, they don't exist in non-dev/build systems.
You might also try rebuilding Application Suite.
Dear Martin, as per your advice I tried to rebuild Application Suite but it continues almost 1 hour neither it completed nor any error displayed.
Just wait for it to complete. 1 hour sounds like a long time but perhaps your system is slow, or you ticked checkboxes "Build referenced packages" or "Synchronize database" which are not needed for troubleshooting this issue.
Does the error still exist after the full build?
I still hope you can share the event log, there may be information to know the cause of the error.
In addition, the fastest way to help you get rid of the trouble is to create a new VM (if possible) and export/import your project.
Dear Blue, I went with creating a new VM. Sorry for late reply.
