Integrating Qibla Direction Functionality with Dynamics 365 for Enhanced User Experience

I am currently working on a project that involves integrating a qibla direction feature into our Dynamics 365 environment. Our goal is to provide our users with the ability to find the qibla direction directly within our application, enhancing the user experience for our Muslim clientele.

Our setup includes the following:

  • Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement: Primarily used for managing customer relationships and service requests.
  • Power Apps: Custom apps to streamline various business processes.
  • Power Automate: Automation of workflows and processes.

We aim to achieve the following with the integration:

  1. Real-time Qibla Direction: Display the Qibla direction based on the user's current location. This needs to be dynamically updated as the user’s location changes.
  2. Integration with Dynamics 365: Embed the Qibla direction feature within our existing Dynamics 365 interface.
  3. User-Friendly Interface: Ensure the Qibla direction feature is easy to use and seamlessly integrated into the user interface.

I have a few specific questions and would appreciate any guidance or recommendations from the community:

  1. API Recommendations: Are there any recommended APIs or services that provide accurate Qibla direction data which can be easily integrated with Dynamics 365?
  2. Technical Implementation: What are the best practices for integrating such a feature within Dynamics 365 using Power Apps or other tools in the Power Platform?
  3. User Experience: Any suggestions on designing the user interface to make the Qibla direction feature intuitive and easily accessible?
  4. Challenges and Solutions: Have any members faced similar integration challenges, and what solutions or workarounds did you find effective?
