BC embedded Power Automate fails: environment not found and flows stuck loading

Hello,

Since 24 June 2026, we have been experiencing an issue with the embedded Power Automate experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The issue occurs when using:

Business Central → Automate

There are two symptoms:

  1. When trying to create a new flow from Business Central, the embedded Power Automate window fails with the error:

“We could not find the environment you were looking for.”

  1. Existing flows that were previously available from Business Central no longer start from the Business Central embedded Automate menu. The window stays in an endless loading state.

Technical details from the error screen:

Date and Time: 2026-06-24 11:29:01Z
Business Central version: 28.1

Additional context:

  • Our Business Central environment was not updated recently. It is still on version 28.1.
  • The Power Platform / Power Automate environment exists and is visible.
  • Existing Power Automate flows can be run directly from make.powerautomate.com.
  • The standard Business Central connector works correctly when used directly in Power Automate.
  • API endpoints used by the flows are also working correctly.
  • The issue appears only when Power Automate is opened or executed through the embedded Business Central Automate experience.
  • Our partner has confirmed that the same issue is affecting other companies as well.

Based on this, the problem does not seem to be related to a specific flow, connector, or Business Central API endpoint. It looks like an issue with the embedded Business Central → Power Automate integration, possibly environment resolution, session handling, or the embedded/deep-link experience.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue since 24 June 2026?

Is there any known Microsoft-side incident, recent Power Platform backend change, or workaround for this embedded Business Central / Power Automate issue?

Thank you.
