The steps as follows:
Remove the folder of XrmToolBox,Delete content of folder C:\users\appData\your_login\Roaming\MscrmTools\XrmToolBox,and Unzip the XrmToolBox.zip

I tried the same version xrmtool box and it worked well.
I suggest that you could uninstall this tool and re-install it again.
If this issue still exists, please contact with xrmtool box team in their github website.

Its working fine for me.
Could you please download the latest from https://www.xrmtoolbox.com/ again.
Also, remove the the one that you have already. do clear credentials as well from the cred manager for xrm toolbox. it should work, alternately, try to restart your system.
