You can check the upcoming release (like 10.0.44) in two ways:
Go to the official release calendar here: 🔗 https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/fin-ops/get-started/public-preview-releases
Via LCS (Lifecycle Services):
Select the environment (Sandbox/Production)
Click on Environment details
Navigate to the Updates or Maintain > Apply updates section
There, you'll see available versions and planned auto-update timelines
You can manually apply it earlier in a Sandbox environment:
In LCS, go to your Sandbox (Tier 2+ environment)
Click Maintain > Apply Updates
If 10.0.44 is available, it will show up — you can schedule the update manually
Test it there, and then promote it to PROD via your deployment process

Once you’ve successfully tested the update (e.g., 10.0.44) in your Sandbox environment, here’s how you can promote it to Production via the standard deployment process:
Complete Testing in Sandbox: Make sure you've thoroughly tested the update in a Tier 2+ environment — including customizations, integrations, and business scenarios.
(If applicable) Create a Deployable Package:

Schedule the Production Update in LCS:
