Hi All,

I was facing issue while writing COC for Final projected method. I know COC will not support for Final method.

I tried using Wrappable(true) above the method ,but no luck

is there any solution for this?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Sarath Varma,

If it's the standard method you are trying to extend, there are not so many options as you can't modify standard code

    1. Check if there is another way to implement your change

    2. Request extension point from MS (usually it takes quite a lot of time, several platform updates, or even more)

If you have access to modify the original method, use Wrappable attribute to solve the issue.

    Hi,

first of all, the author of the original code decides whether it's wrappable or not. Extenders (such as you and me) can't make the base code extensible. Extenders can extend the code that Microsoft has made extensible.

As Sergei pointed out, you can log an extensibility support request. Very often you can also come up with another way of developing your code to solve your business requirement.
