Individual Dimension per column in Management Reporter

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

Hi all,

Has anyone created financial dimension by columns using Management reporter? For e.g., I have Administration, Sales and Marketing and Finance Department. I want to display to represents each department in each column. Therefore there should be three columns represent the respective department in the management reporter. is this possible or should I go for Traditional Financial Statements to create?

    Hi Ethan Ong,

You can realize this in two ways

    1. you can apply a dimension filter for your different departments in the column definition of the MR report

    2. you can setup a MR tree that link the different columns of your report

Some additional information and a related example can be found here

    Hi Ethan Ong,

I am trying to Create a matrix, but in the Example  that you gave a link to, the user has created a static Matrix for the Departments/Dimensions that he wants to use.

Is there a way that i can Dynamically make this report,  I mean, if i want the report to be based on the List of available dimensions in the Dimension values/Dimension value combination?

    Best

So in MR I have a report in which my departments are in columns.  I want to show below the total row for expenses the department % of the total.  What is the formula?  Example data, Executive in Column C.  Column K is a calculated column representing the total of all departments.  I have tired in my row the formula Calc - @185/K and I am getting circular reference.  I am hoping  you can help.

    Thank you.
