I am new to creating report in dynamics 365, I want to create a report which will be grouped by close date month and sort by first probability, then by value, then by close date. I know that we can add groups in report but i can not find the columns that I need in grouping.

Sample report

    Hi Partner,

In the Lay Out Fields dialog, you can click ‘Clcik here to add a grouping’ to add field that you need.

Then click ‘Clcik here to add a column’ to add fields you need, and click ‘Configure Sorting’ to select fields that you have added. But when you select one field to sort it, you can just select one field.

    Hi

You are correct but the layout after doing these steps is not like the screenshot I shared and also I can not get the total in the header. And I can not sort on more than one columns.

    Hi Partner,

The final report can’t fully comply the screenshot you shared, which just can have the same functions.

1.you mean that you want to get the total of the value, you can refer following steps.

    (1) when you add value column, you need select sum in Summary Type:

    (2) The final report:

For more information, you can refer it: https://powerobjects.com/2014/09/12/sum-revenue-field-report/

2.For “And I can not sort on more than one columns” .

Unfortunately, you can just sort by one column, which is by-design.

However, when you run report, you will find icons (pastedimage1604369502452v2.png) in the right of the clolumn name, you can click it to sort the report again.
