Document date and posting date different

Hi Expert, 
 
May I know where to set the document date not equal to posting date? 
 
I do insert the document date as 01/06/2023 and posting date as 15/06/2023.
Once enter, the document date will follow the posting date. May I know how to set this ?

    Hi,
     
    Document Date, Posting date, Initially derived from the Workdate we have in our company when we create any new document, but later you can change the Document Date as you want as it will not change the posting date, but if you change only the posting date, so it will change the document date as well.

    Hi,
    This maybe a little late however, the default posting date can be set as either work date or no date on both the sales & receivable setup page and purchase & payables setup page.
    Also, there has been another update in the last few months as per the below - see the new option to toggle off or on 'Link Doc. Date To Posting Date.
