Hi team,
Our Company has previously used Zoho projects and Zoho CRM to manage both sales opportunities/deals and project management,. Ultimately because of the lack of integration between these 2 applications we have decided to look elsewhere for a CRM solution. We have a keen interest in dynamics 365 but there are certain functions that are mandatory to our project management needs:
1. We are a small business that primarily need to use a CRM system to easily manage and track the initial phase of a sale ; account details, sales name, revenue accrued, etc. nothing complex. We dont really have a streamlined product as we provide a service and consultancy practices.
2. If the sale opportunity is successfully closed, we need to shift the sale to a project. That requires an identical layout of fields to make the shift easy. This is where zoho failed to offer an effective solution and is a must for Dynamics 365.
3.Once the project is successfully onboarded, what is the dynamics 365 solution for project management? We will be tracking tasks/actions in Microsoft projects, not dynamics. The key function of the project management application will be logging and tracking all projects in a User Friendly interface.

Hi, If you are looking at PO it should fit most of what you are looking for.
1. After the sale won the details can be all created into a project, this will include materials and resource booked pre populated as estimates in your project.
2. As mentioned in point 1.
3. PO uses Project for the Web pre integrated to follow and assign tasks. If you want to move item to Project online itself you will need to great a few Power Automates to map data and some customisations.
PO and Project for the web data is stored in data verse where as Project Online is not stored in the same location.
