Best Option for creating Changes Orders for Work Orders in Dynamics Field Service

How do you create change orders for Work Orders in Field Service? In our old system, we would create a work order (ie) 12345 at a fixed price. Then if there were additions or deletions to the work order, a change order work order would be created, associated by the same base wo # (ie) 12345-01 or 12345-02 for change orders 1 and 2 respectively. Generally we would try to dispatch all to the same crew on the same date, but that is not always possible. It could be a different crew to do the work. We have considered the following possible solutions, but aren't familiar enough with each to know if these solutions will work or what the pros and cons are

1. Create a new Work Order and add the original work order as the Related To WO# - con is that it has a new WO# not related to the original so we cannot visually see that this is a CO for the original scoped WO

2. Create a new Requirements record. But again, not sure how we can show the dispatcher that they are for the same job

3. Follow up work orders. This doesn't seem to really fit as these appear to be something post-work

Any solutions or ideas>

Is the challenge scheduling the new work? Or is it about pricing? or both? One option if its about pricing is just adding a new work order product or service, and can always add a flag as a change order. If it is about rescheduling, a new requirement can definitely work and I have seen customers put the work order in a sub status that says "needs follow up schedule", and then they expose that on the requirements list in the board, and then dispatchers know its a schedule for a change order. The schedule follow up work order is also a good option. Ali wrote a nice blog on it - akhan.me/.../
