Color text background in report 2009 style

Hi all

I 'm creating a report in ax2012 using report 2009 tool.

How can I set background color on a text?

I need to color red square, if you see on right image I set background color for a all text but when report is printed only where have text is color.

I have try to create a square shape and set background color but the option doesn't exists.

    Hi Javier,

    Do you have a specific reason why you create the report using the deprecated MorphX report tooling? The "AX2009" option was still available for migration purposes.

    Creating SSRS reports is the way to go forward. SSRS is able to fulfill this requirement.

    The only reason is performance.

    I have a class that takes a second to recover the data, when the report is shown with the SSRS report it usually takes 2 minutes and has reached 10 in the display.

    While with the 2009 tool it takes about 2 seconds to show up.

    Hi Javier,

    What do you mean with "has reached 10 in the display"? Based on the type of report, you can actually put the report in a warmup class, so that caching had been done already which will also speed up the processing time.

    We run in a old version of Ax2012 and don't have warmup class.

    In ssrs report takes 10 minutos to display.

    The TimeDataRetrieval of repot is very big., I think the problem is all the groupings that the report has, I'm goint to try to avoid this.

    Cant you set color in control/text box properties using  report designer ?

    Hi Javier,

    Did you create the SSRS report based on a query or did you create a data provider with some logic? If you used the dat provider, can you possibly share your coding, so we can try to help improving the performance? E.g. did you use the 'insert_recordset' command or some loops with inserts in between?
