Hi,

Just want to ask for confirmation, for data entity named Sales Invoice Header / Line, is this includes Project Invoice ? since I cannot find an entity for Project Invoice, what I found is Project Invoice Proposal , this cannot be the same as Project Invoice, am I right to say that ?

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

    Hi VoltesDev,

Entities for Sales Invoice Header / Line (i.e. Sales invoice headers V2 and Sales invoice lines V3) is related Customer Invoice Journal and do not contain project invoices.

There is not a standard entity for Project invoice itself while you can use entity for project invoice proposal "Project invoice proposal V2" since it has "Invoice ID". For lines, as standard you can use "Project invoice proposal line - expense" and "Project invoice proposal line - hour".

    Hi Alireza,

Thanks, I'm not too familiar with this tables but may I know whether this "proposal" table, is it fixed ? since the name implying the invoice has not been posted / confirmed yet ?

Further more based on the naming, I found other tables with the similar naming like ProjProposalItem and ProjProposalOnAcc, will that need new entity so we didn't miss these kind of project ?

    Thanks again.

    Hi VoltesDev,

Project invoice proposal gives a overview for open, cancelled and Invoiced (i.e. as a source for project invoice). Those that have "Invoiced" status,  can be found as "Project invoices".

As it was mentioned, there is standard entities for "Project invoice proposal V2" that you "InvoiceID" field for those that have "Invoiced" status.

Per today there is just standard entities for "Project invoice proposal line - expense" and "Project invoice proposal line - hour" and not for On-Account, Item and Fee.

    Hi Voltes,

Like Alireza mentioned, there is an Invoice number when the proposal has been invoiced. There is also a status on the invoice proposal which indicates if it has been invoiced.

You are correct that there are more transaction types which can be part of a project invoice. Only for Expenses and Hours, there is an out of the box data entity.

The data entities mentioned above don't have information about amounts and probably some other details. When you need the amounts, I would suggest to create new data entities as a customization from the project invoices (header and multiple line tables; per transactiontype) themselves.
