Hi, I was wondering is it possible to use the new warehouse management functionalities without using a mobile device - i mean to process works using the Work details form in AX?

Some of the work can be executed using the manual work completion form, but the general answer is - no, you can't.

For example, in order to create put-away work for a purchase order, you will need to use the mobile device.

You can of course use the legacy WMS functionality (not WMS II). But this way you are ignoring all the cool WHS functionality like location directives and stuff

You can also use a desktop web browser to execute the Work through the WMDP, you don't necessarily have to use a mobile device, it's just a website that can be accessed from any desktop web browser.
