Thank you Parag Chapre and Poornima-Dynamics for your response and willingness to assist. After spending hours, I figured it out last night actually so let me share this.
Situation:
Normally when an employee has a name change or the name is incorrect, there is a process within CNF to make that change. This is not the case where when an employee submits their timesheet, the name displayed is incorrect. We are using Anthology which relies on Dynamics.
This is how I resolved this by the following:
CNF > Burger menu > Modules > Organization administration > Resources > Resources (CNF > Search bar > Resources > select the first one option also)
Select Description > Description with filter of contains > search for staff
Description > Edit > change name > Save
- The fact that the name is in the Description field, we can edit it
- If the name had a highlighted blue hyperlink, no-touch > HR needs to change that.
Once saved, check with staff to verify name edit has been applied successfully.
