How to work in AIF Doucment history and Exceptions?

Hello AX gurus,

I needed to work with entries/rows of "Document history" and "Exceptions"(in Basic,Periodic,AIF)
Need to read the xml from the "Doucment History" and "Exceptions" that are both successfull and errored out on the AIF inbound.

Can this be done using Business Connector DLL?
And what is the difference AifDocument(I can see this class in AOT) and AifDocumentLOg(but not this one)?

Once I can read these xml from AX, probably I should be able to "Resolve" the errored out entries also.
