May I ask you again to provide more descriptive titles? "Batch Job" could be a good tag for your thread, but it doesn't describe your question nor does it distinguish it from all other questions related to batch jobs. Let me rename to "How to debug batch jobs".

You'll find the answer in AX documentation: Debugging in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 > Batch jobs. You learn how to use documentation - it was created to help you.

We all had to learn at some point, so it's fine to ask:)

But the blog link, this is irritating...we can all copy Microsoft documentation, and claim it as our own...but don't propagate this stuff. If you want to promote a blog, have a little check to see if it plagiarises someone else's work first.

Go to Main Menu/Tools/Options/Development, and disable "Execute business operations in CIL"

Sometimes this is all you need to do.

A better blog post, that includes information not in the rather short AX documentation is this:

    Hi,

I recommend to debug the class in normal mode, by un-marking the check Execute business process in CIL on options window and check whether its giving the expected outcome. If its working as expected, then you can debug the code in Visual Studio.

Refer below link which provides steps to debug through visual Studio:

(Debug from Visual Studio X ++ code running on the server AX 2012)
