What do you mean by "not able to connect to the IIS"? Have you tried to restart IIS service?

    Hi Silvano,

Mahmoud instructions are correct for Platform 7.3 or less. I imagine that your environment is a 8.0 platform. In 8.0 platform no there is admin user and not exists the possibility to connect with administrator privileges. Due to this, you can't check the third point.

I use a little trick for solve this error. In visual studio go to some table and click in open browser (right button). This make that iis express run and the error is solve.

I hope that this work for you.

    Regards.

Note that the restriction of admin users applies only to Microsoft-hosted environments.

Also, it's related to environments deployed with PU12 or higher; 7.3 and 8.0 are application versions, not platform versions.

Hi , This trick of starting Visual studio worked for me. But as soon as I close the VS, service stops again. This is version info.

    Accessing VM using builtin\User***** account.

    Environment Type Develop
