Error when trying to print/deploy report

ReportReport
Posted on by

I am getting the below error when trying to open a report.  I have just upgraded from ax 2012 to R2.  I actually uninstalled ax reporting services, then reinstalled them.  I am unsure if that is correct or not because I cant find information on this.  It automatically went through a cmd line of updating the reports during install of r2 reporting.  I went to run the report the report and I get this message:  I am unsure what the steps are to upgrade from AX 2012 to R2 to see if I missed something.  I have even tried to go to the report and deploy this custom report and get the same error message.  The reporting services are running and the report server configuration within AX is setup and says its working.

Error while setting server report parameters. Error message: Failed to load expression host assembly. Details: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Dynamics.Framework.Metadata.AX, Version=6.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. (rsErrorLoadingExprHostAssembly)

I really appreciate your help

The report still contains internal references to AX 2012 RTM (Version=6.0.0.0) and can no longer find the components.  Depending on the report, you might be able to export the SSRS, modify the file to change 6.0.0.0 to 6.2.0.0, and re-import the SSRS report.  Otherwise you'll have to re-create the report starting from the R2 version.
