Hi there,

I'm working on a project for a medical company that uses URS as their planning software. In the past, we installed Field Service and deleted the Field Service solutions again so only URS will stay (as per advice by MS). However, we're still on the same URS version (1.1.1.27). I know there is a later version. How should I update these solutions to the latest version and what exactly is the latest version?

Hi,

I've got a call with the Product Manager URS next Wednesday regarding this subject. The first answer from MS was indeed to install CS, FS or PSA. However, they admit that deleting the solutions around it is also supported.

I'll keep you posted about this subject.

Hi Marc,

You must have either Customer Service (now that it has core scheduling feature that you can install) or Field Service or Project Service Automation installed. I do not recommend removing the solution that installs URS.
