Hello,

Just wondering if any of you might ever have had any experience in topic mentioned in the subject. If so, could you please give a hint as to where to start? I'm pretty new to NAV( 2009 R2 ) and i got a task, where i have to make a logging system similar to the one in Cronus, but i can't really seem to get anywhere with it. Any ideas as to which objects shall i move to the empty database, in order for it to work properly? Ooor, if any of you could supply me with any pdf/txt/what ever, that i could use to deeper my knowladge in the subject (by which i mean: the basic construct of the logging system, which object does it use, etc...) would also be a huge help to me.

I already browsed through the net for some info, so far with a bit more or less success..

Thank you , and have a nice day: Ruben

    hi,

do not start with an empty database. start with a cronus db and change it. so you can use the standard nav logging. but be aware logging uses much performance. normally it's used only for debugging.

to understand the logging mechanism just debug, when the logging ist activated.

    best regards
