Hi,

Anybody has an explanation for these amounts in the YTD column on Financial reports?

YTD is year to date (from financial year perspective) in financial reports/management reporter

Hi CapsLock,

You can select financial, account, &transaction for the detail level in the report definition to check the composition of the value.

How about a month?

Hi Mattguo,

Thanks for suggesting that. I see that the amounts come from an opening balance now, but still I have two questions:

1. Why don´t I have these amount in local currency?

2. How can I have opening balances if the fiscal year close for the previous year hasn´t been run yet?

The query is why do I have those amounts in reporting currency and not in accounting currency.

Hi Ludwig,

No filter at all in the row definition. The row definition in this case is very simple, I just have:

* Row code

* Description

* Link to Financial dimensions - which is one main account per row

Hello CapsLock,

Can you quickly try recreating the report?

That is, create a new row and column definition (from scratch) and rerun the report).

You can do that by copying the old row/column definition to Excel and then pasting it back to your new row/column definitions.

Wonder if you see the same problem again in this newly created report.

Hi CapsLock,

1. Same case with you when accounting currency differs to reporting currency. Please create a support ticket in LCS.

2. Fiscal year uses BASE-1 , period uses 12 and select YTD, it will calculate the end balance for privious year which does not close the fiscal year.

I tried what you proposed and same result. I keep getting the same amounts on the YTD column.
