When opening up CRM, it goes to an actual record no matter what I do

We are on D365 for CRM and when a certain user opens up CRM, it goes to a certain record all the time.  It doesn't seem to matter what I set his default Pane and Tab to.  Any ideas on how to resolve this?  I have also cleared his cache in I.E., no luck.

    Hi,

      AS per your query you have tried the options and one more suggestion is that if possible ask the user to delete the record [if it is fine] and close everything and open in a fresh browser and check it.
