Cannot find configuration for AOS instance 0-1 when install second AOS AX2012 R2

When I install second AOS (AX2012 R2) on a computer then has been issued with message "Cannot find configuration for AOS instance 0-1". Please help me if you have any solution for this issue. Thanks

    Hi Lam,

    I had the similar issue and the solution for me was very simple. When I select to install the AOS you get a window that  "Do you want to upgrade an the existing AOS instance?"  if you select "yes"  then this error occurs on the next step if you select "No" then the system properly create the second AOS instance.

    Thanks for your experienced answer. I were understood this Issue via your answer.

    But the first time I were upgrade from AX2012 to AX2012 R2 and now when I am try install more AOS, I were not found Msg "Do you want to upgrade an the existing AOS instance". If you have any solution, :) help me.

    Quite a few causes for this one Lam,but it is late where I am and I am falling asleep.  If no one gives an answer by the time I get my first break from work tomorrow, I'll take it.  Thankfully, this is one that can be solved with just a few steps.

    Hi Lam,

    I faced this problem with a clean install accidentally when I pressed several times the "Yes" button without reading the message. But seems it's not the same case as yours. If I have any other idea I will let you know.

    Hi Lam,

    Did this get fixed?  I think that Zoltan is correct here, but let me know.  I promised to help you on it if you had any issues, and I like to keep my word.

    I did install again with selection is  "No" and now it's OK.

    Hi Brandon- I am getting the same error- and I dont want to click NO as I am trying to upgrade my existing instance of AX 2012 to AX 2012 R2. Are there any other options to get past this?

    Try to create new client config and run setup again.

    Solved,

    There was a running service on same server. I stopped it then i got the normal screen.

    "Do you want to upgrade an the existing AOS instance?"  if you select "yes"  then this error occurs on the next step if you select "No" then the system properly create the second AOS instance.

    An issue I encountered is that the AOS instance drop down wasn't auto populating so I typed the instance name in manually and got the error in the first post. When I typed in the instance name matching case to the config, I did not get the error. So, dax2012dev is not DAX2012Dev.
