Table cannot be compiled

Hi expert,

Document Table 6008950 cannot be compiled and  it showed that one of the codeunits does not exist. Actually we have never used this codeunit. We have converted from 4.0 to 2013, and the missing codeunit was in the old system.  Please advise! Thank you!

import the missing codeunit from the old system or remove, if possible, the usage of the codeunit in the table and recompile.

Do we need to convert that specific codeunit from version 4.0 to 2013?  How to remove the codeunit?

I tried to import the codeunit from the old system, and after compiling the table again, it showed more codeunits were not there. I imported around 10 codeunits, and then compiled the last time, but it showed different error, which required to declare a global variable.

I tried to delete the document table, but had Delete Errror: It is not possible to delete a table definition (the document table) if there are records in the table.

Delete all records in the table for all companies before deleting the definition.

I tried to run the table, but had Run Error: The object table Document must be saved in  compliled form before it can be run.

    Thank you!

It seems to be a Addon table.

If you are not using that Addon anymore then its better to be deleted.

You can delete data from SQL also and then try to delete.

As you are saying codeunit  is missing either You make that code unit in 2013 or make that line comment and then compile. after that you have to decide whether you need that line of code or not.

You can either add all the codeunits that required by this table or comment the lines which throw the errors. There might be variables declared for these missing codeunits. So you need to manually delete those as well.

As mohana said check if you really need this table in your new version, If you do not want this table to be in your new version then simply delete the table.
