Hi,

The last three times I have tried to print my checks they are not lining up like they used to. the amount is printing over the words amount and the payee has moved down so it is literally right above the routing number at the bottom of the check. Any ideas?

    RE: Check printing issues

    Hi Angela,

More likely your check form got corrupted in Reports.dic, I guess you are using modified check with stub on top and bottom - Graphic in GP as you print your checks. You are not using Mekorma or any 3rd party product to print your checks. Here is what I would do if I were in your shoe:

1). Check your default check printer & make sure using the same printer & same drive as before

2). make a backup of your current reports.dic

3). Go to the report writer, remove the check form you are using

4). Reimport that check form back from your previous reports.dic if you have one, you have to redesign the check form if you do not have a backup (It should be not that hard), prevent to move the header or footer line down or up.

5). Run a couple of test to print the checks in a test company & make sure everything aligned up.

I hope above can help you to resolve your check printing issue.

    Good Luck

    Rob
