Ax 2009 - Item has got salesLines but not any InventTrans record of type Purch..

Hi everyone,

i just encountered this particular situation where some of my items have zero OnOrder quantity in their InventOnhandItem form, and zero transactions of type "purch".

But if i query the salesLine table looking for that item's orders on SalesStatus = Backorder, i find some records..

How do you explain such situation? Maybe some import of data went wrong or whatever..?

Hi,

those items could be of type service, which doesn't create inventory transactions.

I didn't considered that some of my orders are of type "Journal", so there are no inventory transactions attached..
