I recently activated my IUR license for Dynamics 365. Previously I was using the license for IWS (the Mediera trial I think). My issue now is that I don't have admin rights to create a new company. I suspect I'm still accessing the IWS version but not really sure.

My issue is that I don't have permission to create a new company or edit my own security - keep getting messages to contact the administrator. No one else is accessing this in my Company accept me - so not sure who the administrator could be.

    Hello Bob,

    You should have at least 1 user with the permission set 'SUPER' and no company specified.  This is the only user who is going to be able to create new companies.... and\or grant the same permission to other users.

    If you are SUPER then it's going to be a license issue.  IWS license is trial and once it's expired will not work for anything other than accessing CRONUS.  If you activated an IUR on this account you will have a full Dynamics 365 for Financials license listed... 5 of them actually.

    Thanks Chris - I thought I had created my account first but apparently I created another user and then me. The first user created had the SUPER permission.
