Hello everyone,
I hope there are people / company that still use the AX 2012 R3.
As we know, this is the main screen Numpad of Retail POS. We can input quantity, barcode number, or item id there.
When we want to input the quantity, it only supports 2 digits decimals. (Picture below)
I was assigned a task to customize the main numpad, so that it can support up to 3 digits of decimals.
Is this main numpad customizable? Because i couldn't find the specific object in the Retail SDK source code.
Or is there any setup parameter from AX to satisfy the requirement?
Thanks in advance.
Actually, I found a simple workaround trick to input 3 digits or more decimal quantity on the main numpad. Don't use the main POS numpad to input the number as it only support two digit of decimal no matter many times you type.
Instead you can input decimal with your physical keyboard or Windows' On-screen keyboard. For Example : type 123,864 using your PC physical keyboard or Windows' on-screen keyboard, and then you can use asterisk symbol (*) from the main POS numpad (the one beside number zero on the numpad) to make this as a quantity. Don't use asterisks symbol (*) from the physical keyboard as it will make the decimal only two digits.
We can see the picture below
But still, if anyone can or have customized this numpad, please tell me how to do it.
Thank you.
