How to import Counting journal in AX 2012

Hello everyone,

Counting journal has many lines > 3K lines after create lines > users cant key in Counted field manually. So I need to add in excel or import Counting journal, but both of them are error:

1. Add in excel by Imventjournaltrans: After create line 3k lines > i process add in excel, i key in Counted quantity but i get error with LotID. I cant keyin Lot ID

2. Import by entity Inventory journal > I just create Journal ID and import all fields of line in journal > But, system just allow to import Counted quantity, dont import Onhand quantity. > I dont process this one

Give me a advice, please! Target to keyin couting journal lines (many lines, users cant do manually)

    Hi Dao,

    1: What is the exact error you are getting? This is about the LotID being mandatory?

    2: Are you using DIXF for the import or a custom class to handle the file yourself?

    Hi André Arnaud de Calavon,

    1. Yes, I get blank LotID field > get error (LotID is not specified). I key in data > get error (The value XXX is not found in the related table Invent trans orgirinator...) > I dont know key in which number for Lot ID. I just keyed  in the autogenerated number that follows the largest number available

    2. t used DIXF to import an Inventory counting journal into AX 2012 from an Excel source file sucessfully. But i just import counted quantity, onhand  quantity is caculated by system after importing > It is OK. But I want to import both of inventory status (blocked or available) and License plate (....). I dont find 2 fields in template of Inventory journal

    Do you know how to import Inventory status and license plate for counting journal lines? Give me some advice?

    HI Dao,

    I don't have a running AX 2012 environment available. Not sure if the counting journal is a standard entity or if you are using a custom entity.   Can you provide some more technical details about the entity you are using?
