Dear All,

I am creating a new table and ListPageform "NewConnection". It's having 10 coulmns and one button (Print report).
Columns like Connection ID, Connection type, Start date, End date etc.
My requirement is i want to hide particular column like example "Connection Type" and button (print report) for some users only.
Example : Suppose we have 10 users. I want when users 5 and 9 login in to AX and open particular form "NewConnection" then in this form column like "ConnectionType"and button (print report) should NOT visible for those users only. For other users it should be visible.
Could you please let me know how to do this.

Thanks!
Arpan Sen

    Hi @rp@n,

You can hide them button and column using security override, please read for additional details

    Thanks Ievgen,

I go through the link. It's nice. But i have one doubt.

As per link if i do changes in Project Assistant role and assign this role to user 5 and 9. Then it's fine that those users not able to see "CostPrice". But i think it will applicable for all users also.

Shall i make it duplicate role of Project Assistant role then make the changes and then assign this newly created role to User 5 and 9.  Is't correct ?

    Please suggest me.

    Thanks!

    Hi @rp@n,

You are right, its better to create a new role and assign it to these users instead of modifying existing one.
