D365 Marketing Event Website Customize in Microsoft Power Page

Posted on by 15

According to Microsoft Learn, the event website is installed in Power Pages.

https://learn.microsoft.com/zh-tw/training/modules/create-event-marketing/2-website

"The first time that you install Dynamics 365 Marketing, the then-current event website is installed on your Microsoft Power Pages solution and is ready to use out of the box. The website won't be updated or overwritten when you update Dynamics 365 Marketing, so you can customize the copy that's installed on your portal. If you want to modify the behavior and appearance of the event website, you can customize it with the help of a developer."

Does it mean that if we subscribe on Power Pages licence we can customize it through Power Pages instead of having the help of developer?

Tried to link with my D365 Marketing with a trial on Power Page, but the event website doesn't come out.

Gone through the documents, seems there is no further information on the integration between D356 Marketing & Power Pages. Thanks for helping.

RE: D365 Marketing Event Website Customize in Microsoft Power Page

    Hi Leah,

Thank you for your answer. I have gone through Power Page, if the setup is correct, Power Page will be directly binded into D365 without setup.

I have compared the link of Event Site & Power Page, it seems they are launching in different ways. I guess maybe we can do it in traditional way to customize the site as mentioned on your post, we can't achieve on a low-code amendment under Power Page.

    Thanks!

    Hi Candy,

Effective October 12, 2022, Power Apps portals is Power Pages. More information: Microsoft Power Pages is now generally available (blog)

In the following documentation, same description is:

"The first time you install Dynamics 365 Marketing, the event website is installed onto your Power Apps portals solution and is ready to use right out of the box. The website is built using the Angular framework (which makes it easy to customize) and you can choose to host it anywhere (not just on the Power Apps portals solution). The following table describes the hosting options."

You can find information on the integration between D356 Marketing & Power apps portal.
