Apologies if I'm posting too many random posts, my problem is urgent and I need to find a solution pretty quickly - I'm trying to make my questions as different as possible.

In a marketing page how do I unlock the fields for either the Page Template or Web Template.

I can edit the Markieng Default Web Template which solves my issues so far.

However I need to create multiple templates. I can create the templates, but until I know how to unlock those fields I can't apply them to the page.

Could someone please point me in the right direction

    Hi Lee,

When you mention the Page Template or Web Template, do you mean the two options in the image below?

If so, the templates here are only used when the marketing page is integrated into the Portal.

    1. If you just create the page template in Marketing, as shown in the image below.

Please change the template in the bottom of the Marketing Page designer to apply it to the page.

    1. If you want to integrate your Marketing Page to the portal you created, the default Web Page will not be shown until the Marketing Page has gone live and the Page / Web Template here is for the corresponding Web Page in the portal, not for the Marketing Page.

Here is an article that describes the relationship between them.

Web Templates, Page Template, Web Pages. What's the difference? | The Portal Company

You can change the template from Portal Management.

You can also change it from Power Apps by editing the portal.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,

    HI Nya

Thank you for your reply, however your solution is something that I have tried and isn't suitable.

I have a lot of complicated HTML, CSS and JavaScript in headers and footers. They need to be constant over many pages. A constant header and footer is the most appropriate way to do this. However as I have several versions of these headers and footers I need to be to be able to change those  page and web templates that you highlighted, I can  change the defaults, but I require multiple.
