Every company that does the trade in United states has a D-U-N-S number (D-U-N-S® Number is a unique nine-digit identification sequence, which provides a unique identifier of single business entities, while linking corporate family structures together). While looking into Vendor Table (VendTable) for dynamics AX 2009, we noticed some of the relevant fields but none is available for use in United States. Here is the list -
CompanyIdNAF - NAF code of the company (France related)
EnterpriseNumber - Enterprise number used to identify Belgian companies (Belgium, Norway related)
CompanyIdSiret - Siret number of the company (France related)
OrgId - Organization number as registered by legal authorities (Iceland related)
Has any of you (doing business in USA) implemented D-U-N-S through dynamics AX and if so, can you please advise on the best way to handle that.
