We have, over the past 20 years, had 1 client who bought 'Micr toner' - used it until it was empty and then purchased regular toner.  No one said a word - not bank - and this was at least 15 years ago.

Since then for all my clients printing AP checks use regular toner and have no issues.

The technology may have changed in the banking industry where they are now 'taking pictures' of everything, rather than relying on the Magnetic readers of the past.  That is my opinion and I dont have any real concrete proof to back this up.

Anyone out there know or think any different, please post.
