Budget Cycle Time Span Assignment For Dimension

Hi All,

I am getting this error in test machine legal entity FRRT.

A budget check cannot be performed. The budget cycle time span assigned to dimension value 603700-006---ActionSpor--- does not have a budget cycle for the accounting date 8/10/2016.

Any idea where I can assign this cycle time span for dimension.

I've just posted a voucher in a general journal in a FRRT environment (AX7) without problems. Where do you get the error message?

Anyway please look at the Budget control configuration in tabpage Assign budget models. Would think a row for year 2016 is missing in the setup?

NB: To my understanding you don't setup any on a dimension (even a main account) as such.

Hello Ali,

Can you check whether all budget control cycles have been setup in the budget control configuration?

Hi Ali

To me it worked to change/delete the 'Define budget control rule' in the budget control configuration.

After that the error disappeared.

Hi Ludwig,

I have the same error to this, I already check the Budget Control Configuration and there was a setup for the fiscal Year 2023 and also the start and end of the period. But still, getting the same error.
