Microsoft Dynamics GP (Archived)

AA JE Inquiry window is missing closed year's JEs.

Closed the year and now the closed year's JEs are gone but they are viewable via SL. Only BBFs available.  

Include dimensions/consolidation in YE close option is not marked in the AA Setup window nor any of the dimension setup windows.

    Hi,

    There is alternative way to open AA JE inquiry window, you will be able to get the same under this path:

    Inquiry-->Financials-->Analytical Accounting-->Journal Entry Inquiry.

    If you know the JE number enter it in Journal Entry Field and Tab Off from it.

    Yes, the same result in that path.  No JE's for the closed year?  Does it have anything to do with NOT having the Include dimensions in YE Close checkbox selected in the AA Options window? Thanks!

    Actually "Include dimensions in YE Close"  this option is only to include Transaction Dimension Codes for calculation while doing year end closing, so this should not affect your Journal entries in history tables.

    The other thing you can check whether you have marked Maintain History in GL setup window for transactions, this might be the cause of JE's Missing from History tables.

    you can use Distribution Query wizard or Multi level Distribution Query wizard to view the Transactions
