Hi,

Could you explain why on my YTD P&L the rate of exchange is different on every line of the report? Shouldn't it be the same? 

We use Average rate for all accounts and enter one rate per month (so much for average:))

I expect that each line of the report would be converted to CAD from US at the same rate but the rate is different from line to line.

The rate does stay the same on the monthly P&L.

Anybody saw that?

    Hi Oleg,

    If all the accounts use the same rate type, they should all convert at the same rate.  Since you only have one rate per month, try changing an account or two to use the Current translation method.  You can do this by going to the Account Card and clicking the Currency button.  If you are using data mart, you'll need to wait 5 minutes for the data mart to update.

    Hi Greg,

    Thank you for helping. After changing few accounts to Current rate the report produces expected results and rate stays the same for these lines. It is also the same for monthly report. 

    I just want to understand what the system is doing when Year To Date report is produced and rates are different for each line.
