Hi Guys,
For information first, I am developer of Dynamics AX 2012 R3
Here my question, it that any way to add MangedHost Control to a grid?
basically i want replace a MaskedTextBox to stringEdit, due to i want to use the mask function.
Any experienced for this issues? please share to me, many thanks.
You can't use WinForms and WPF controls in D365FO, because it's not a desktop application anymore. It's a web application. It also means that whatever you build with managed controls will have to be thrown away on upgrade, therefore you probably don't want to invest too much in this area.
D365FO comes with new a concept of extensible controls.
I am not a D365FO developer, just for curious for the same case is that D365FO support? Or still not way to make it?
I don't think you can use it in a grid.
I suggest that you change the design of your form and use the managed control outside the grid.
